 The mission of the West Jordan Police Department is to provide quality community oriented policing through a partnership with the residents and businesses creating a safe and secure environment for living and working in the City. | |  | | | | Office Directive The West Jordan Police Department is charged with the responsibility of providing a safe and appealing place to live and work. This is accomplished through programs designed to create interaction between the police and the community. Trust, dignity, and respect provide the framework for accomplishing these goals. The Animal Control Division is responsible for enforcing City and County ordinances thereby establishing a balance between public safety and animal welfare.
