Personal - Raised on an Idaho dairy farm and enjoys meeting with Utah farmers and local officials as a resource in addressing a wide variety of water conservation and development problems.
- Retired from his position as Chief of the Water Education/Conservation Section of the Utah Division of Water Resources and now works part-time as a research consultant for the same agency.
- Authored a white paper for the Utah Water Conservation Forum on water pricing and contributed articles on that subject to the Economic Report to the Governor in 1999 and 2001.
- Co-author of a report on water pricing written for the American Water Resource Association Research Foundation in 2006-07.
