Looking for the next Miss Western Stampede Rodeo Queen
Are you the next Miss Western Stampede Rodeo Queen? On May 17, contestants compete for prizes including a saddle, tiara, banner, belt buckle and the opportunity to represent the Western Stampede, a 54-year-old West Jordan tradition. Contestants must be female Utah residents who are a least 15 years of age and not more than 24 years.

Free summer movie series kicks off with "Charlotte's Web" May 16

"Charlotte's Web" is the first of seven free movies scheduled to light up the BIG screen (30' x 30') in West Jordan city parks this summer. "Charlotte's Web" screens Friday, May 16 at about 8:30 p.m. in Constitution Park, 7000 S 3200 West. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs and pick your place under the stars and prepare to gaze at the other kind of stars. In addition to a free feature per month during May, June, July and August, the city will feature three nights of free movies during the city's Fourth of July Western Stampede Celebration.

7800 South Sewer Pipeline Project Update (pdf)

To facilitate this work, the east-bound lane between Airport Road and 4800 West will be closed beginning March 31 until May 8. East-bound traffic on 7800 South will be diverted south along 4800 West to New Bingham Highway then allowed to continue east.
